(Recommended for elementary schools grades 2-6) Joyride II is a delightful way to usher in the holiday season. Filled with fun, energetic and innovative dance, this concert features the work of Tim Hadel, always an audience favorite, who works magic with all sorts of interesting and surprisingly ordinary props. The RDT Dancers will also present their own original choreography to complete the p rogram. A parade of projected movement vocabulary words from Utah's Core Curriculum of Dance will highlight dance elements featured in each piece and will help guide you through this visual spectacle of movement.

Repertory Dance Theatre (RDT) has been involved in serving Utah’s schools with Arts-In Education programs since 1966. RDT has created Lecture Demonstrations, Movement Classes, Teacher-in-Service Workshops and performances which educate entertain and inspire students and teachers helping them understand and appreciate the arts. All activities are based on the State Core Curriculum for Dance.

RDT is fortunate to have financial assistance for our AIE activities and are grateful to the Utah State Office of Education “POPS” program, Utah State Legislature, The Utah Arts Council, and a number of corporate and foundation sponsors.
