New Century Dance Project

After a highly-acclaimed launch last August, New Century Dance Project will return this summer with an expanded program of five-days. This one-of-a-kind festival will feature master classes, workshops, choreography, and performance- all in a performing-arts setting that brings professional teaching artists and performers to the next generation of dancers and leaders.
This event is open to any pre-professional and youth dancers ages 8-College Age are invited to be inspired, grow, and build their network by connecting with some of the finest educators and artists from universities, colleges, and professional companies. NCDP is an outstanding non-competitive event for individual students and for entire youth companies who want to experience performance and learning to advance their craft and artistry.
The culminating event of the festival weekend brings together some of the most outstanding youth dance companies from across the United States that represent the diversity of styles making dance such a rich and beautiful art form. These young dancers will share the stage with Utah’s professional, pre-professional and collegiate companies for a one-of-a-kind evening of excellence. GET TICKETS>>
Master teacher / choreographer / artistic director
Francisco Gella's distinguished career as a professional dancer, choreographer, artistic director and dance educator in the genres of ballet, modern and contemporary dance, spans more than twenty years since he took his first ballet class at the University of Washington during his freshman year. Universities, schools, and companies seek after his awardwinning
innovative choreography, and highly effective inspirational teaching methods, across North America as well and around the globe. Francisco is the founding artistic director COLABO Youth Dance Collective and currently has artistic residencies in Orem, Utah and Dallas, Texas. He also serves as ballet director for the nationally acclaimed 24 Seven Dance Convention. Born in Bacolod City, Philippines, Mr. Gella immigrated to the United States at age eleven and now resides in Los Angeles, CA.
