RDT will perform Scherzo Fantastique by Norbert de la Cruz III, an RDT commission created in honor of the company's 60th Anniversary, receiving its world premiere in November 2025. Sparked by the mundane act of standing and sitting in an office chair, the work uses chairs as props throughout as the dancers navigate Suk's exuberant, rhythmically shifting score in search of light and hope amid darker moments of grief and loss.
