Desert Turtle and See Me Closely are innovative performances that employ a range of media, from dance and music to video and projection mapping, to convey complex narratives.

Desert Turtle is a solo work that weaves together the artist's familial history, the symbolism of turtles, and the contrasting landscapes of Yokohama and the Mojave Desert. See Me Closely uses choreographed movement, objects, and film to comment on the tension between digital connectivity and authentic human interaction. Both pieces showcase the power of multidisciplinary art to express the multilayered nature of identity and our yearning for connection. Together, the performances underscore that our personal stories are part of the larger human tapestry, and that in our diverse experiences, we find commonality and shared meaning.

RDT’s LINK Series is an outreach program offering independent choreographers the opportunity to present their work in performance. RDT provides infrastructure and advisory support for production and marketing while allowing the choreographer to retain artistic autonomy.
