ROSE WAGNER - LEONA WAGNER BLACK BOX THEATRE
Choreographer John Mead is premiering a new, evening-length choreographic work titled, “Wind” on May 18th, 19th, and 20th at the Leona Wagner Black Box Theater at the Rose. The piece is dedicated to the people of Ukraine. The concert will also feature a shorter work, titled "Cumulus" which the choreographer originally created and premiered in New York. Mr. Mead has worked internationally as a choreographer for the past 30 years, having choreographed over 200 original works. Prior to that, he was a dancer with the Repertory Dance Theater from 1981 – 1987. Mr. Mead would like to thank RDT and the Link series for providing this valued opportunity to explore new work.

RDT’s LINK Series is an outreach program offering independent choreographers the opportunity to present their work in performance. RDT provides infrastructure and advisory support for production and marketing while allowing the choreographer to retain artistic autonomy.
