Dance / Drum Workshop

Limited dates this summer - Saturdays, 10:40 am - 12:10 pm

Experience the heartbeat of West Africa in this high-energy, community-focused class! The first half of the class is dedicated to learning traditional Guinean rhythms through hands-on drumming, exploring the powerful connection between drum, culture, and movement. No prior drumming experience is necessary—just bring your energy and curiosity!

In the second half, we’ll bring those rhythms to life through vibrant Guinea, West African dance. Led by an experienced instructor, you’ll learn traditional steps and sequences that embody the spirit, strength, and joy of the culture. Accompanied by live drumming, this class offers an immersive experience that will leave you feeling empowered and connected.

All levels welcome. Drums provided (or bring your own). Come ready to move, make music, and celebrate the power of rhythm and dance!
