Join Kellie St. Pierre and Mitsu Salmon for a two-hour movement workshop blending Butoh and movement composition. All levels are welcome, and comfortable clothing is recommended.

Hour 1 – Mitsu Salmon Mitsu will lead a Butoh workshop beginning with Noguchi exercises to open the body, followed by guided imagery and structured improvisation. Drawing on the desert landscape, we will roll around in the sand, embody turtles, and eat sour plums.

Hour 2 – Kellie St. Pierre Kellie will guide participants in generating movement material through a series of writing prompts and reflective questions. These short writings will be used as springboards into physical exploration, composition, and shared improvisation.
