"Building Together" - an exploration of duets/dancemaking with Rebecca Aneloski

Know someone that you want to dance and build a duet with? This workshop focuses on bringing friends into a collaborative process guided by And Artists. The day will begin with solo and duet improvisations, then into a duet making portion facilitated by Rebecca Aneloski, founder of And Artists.
This workshop is specifically geared towards making a duet with someone you feel comfortable moving and creating alongside. Find a dance partner in the community to attend the "Building Together" workshop, then both register independently. On the workshop date, check in with Repertory Dance Theatre Administration to note partnerships. The workshop space will be open 15 minutes prior to the start time.
Rebecca Aneloski is a dance artist currently based in the Salt Lake City area. She holds an MFA in Modern Dance from The University of Utah. Presenting works collaboratively under the name And Artists, she has directed and choreographed in the Salt Lake City community since 2016. She currently teaches technique for the Modern Program at The University of Utah, is editing a dance film with Blank Space to be released early this year, and spends most of her time renovating and designing a Mid-Century home in Utah.
