Season 61 – 2026-2027

RDT's 2026-2027 Season

A season of gratitude
“The essence of all beautiful art, all great art, is gratitude.”  — Friedrich Nietzsche

As RDT steps into its 61st season, we do so with hearts full of thanks. Season 61 — A Season of Gratitude — is our acknowledgment of all who have sustained, inspired, and believed in this company across six decades. While we continue to celebrate the extraordinary milestone of our 60th Anniversary, we look forward with renewed creative vision, launching bold artistic initiatives that will guide the company’s work for years to come. We remain steadfast in our mission: creating, performing, preserving, and fostering appreciation for modern dance.

RDT is proud to be a Utah cultural institution. As we build on the landmark momentum of our Diamond Anniversary, our 2026–2027 season honors the relationships that brought us here and embraces everything that lies ahead.

Dancing America’s Story

As in past seasons, RDT continues to deepen its connections across our community through a suite of ongoing initiatives.

  • Ring Around the Rose, now entering its 29th season, remains one of Salt Lake City’s most cherished family performance series, running September through May with monthly presentations designed to introduce young audiences to the full breadth of the performing arts.
  • RDT’s Dance Center on Broadway, also entering its 29th season, offers 50 weeks of drop-in classes in a variety of dance styles for any community member aged 16+ up.
  • RDT’s Link Series continues as a primary way the company can support new and emerging choreographers and dance groups. Working in partnership with RDT, these groups receive assistance in presenting their own performances at the Rose Wagner Performing Arts Center in downtown Salt Lake City.
