Ella Kim is from Seattle, WA where she began classical ballet training at age four. She graduated summa cum laude with a BFA in Dance from George Mason University in 2024, where she performed pieces by Rafael Bonachela, Shaun Boyle D’Arcy, Karen Reedy, Christina Robson, Susan Shields, and Doug Varone. Upon graduating, Ella joined DanceWorks Chicago under the direction of Julie Nakagawa, where she performed and taught nationally and internationally. Ella is inspired by the communicative and wholehearted powers of dance and is honored to join RDT for their 61st season.
