Megan Mary O’Brien is a dancer/artist born in Salt Lake City, Utah. She trained at a local Utah dance studio, The Winner School, in numerous styles of dance. She continued her education at the University of Utah School of Dance on a full scholarship and graduated with a BFA in Modern Dance. She is currently a dancer for Repertory Dance Theatre and has performed works by many wonderful choreographers, including Zvi Gotheiner, Lar Lubovitch, Yusha Marie Sorzano, Shane Urton, and Noa Zuk. She is compelled to share her passions with the community by advocating for disability inclusion, supporting the growth of young artists through education programs and facilitating independent choreographic projects that champion the belief that everyone has the potential to use creativity to benefit their lives. Outside of dance, she is fueled by reading, writing, film photography, playing basketball, and swimming in the ocean.
