60th Anniversary Season

RDT's Diamond Season

It’s not just 60 years… it’s unstoppable momentum forward

RDT’s Diamond Anniversary season honors our rich history while propelling us forward with renewed purpose. We remain steadfast in our commitment to our mission: creating, performing, preserving, and fostering appreciation for modern dance. This season RDT proudly commemorates the connections and relationships that shaped our legacy, commissions new works that expand the boundaries of modern dance and strengthen our commitment to making dance accessible to all.

Throughout the 2025-26 season, we shine a spotlight on the artists, educators, and community members who have propelled us forward for six decades. Each performance reaffirms our commitment to bold storytelling, electrifying physicality, and artistic excellence that speaks to all generations.

It’s not just 60 years… its everyone’s story told through movement.

RDT continues to focus on building connections and relationships within our larger community. Several season-long initiatives continue to serve as primary tools to help RDT accomplish these goals. They include:

  • Ring Around the Rose, now entering its 28th season, is a kid and family friendly performance series that runs from September-May of each year. Each monthly performance focuses on a different performing art and community group with mission to inform and educate younger audiences.
  • RDT’s Dance Center on Broadway, also entering its 28th season, offers 50 weeks of drop-in classes in a variety of dance styles for any community member aged 16+ up.
  • RDT’s Link Series continues as a primary way the company can support new and emerging choreographers and dance groups. Working in partnership with RDT, these groups receive assistance in presenting their own performances at the Rose Wagner Performing Arts Center in downtown Salt Lake City.
