FROM THE ARCHIVE – The Winged

José Limón was the first major choreographer selected by the RDT dancers to re-stage a work on the newly formed company in 1967. Since then, RDT is proud to have performed five of his works and to keep his timeless choreography alive for contemporary audiences. Inspired by humankind’s obsession with flight, Limón’s The Winged transports audiences into a world where nature blends with humanity. First performed by RDT in 2023, we are thrilled to bring this work back to the stage in DEUX, April 24-26.
